• Acted for an international insurance company and its Vietnamese subsidiary in relation to its proposed provision of insurance products to drivers operating under the banner of South East Asia’s leading super-app. Our advice, among other matters, covered legal matters relating to data collection and protection issues in collecting and storing information about the drivers for the purpose of underwriting the insurance policies. 
• Acted for a fintech company in conducting a comprehensively detailed review of its business model as a provider of a digital finance platform in Vietnam.
• Advising a technology service company regarding surveillance requirements in Vietnam under the Cyber Security Law, and specifically decryption powers applied in conjunction with lawful intercept requirements.
• Advised the world’s largest telecommunications & mobile phone company on the Vietnam law aspects of a global solution covering privacy/cyber security.
• Advising one of the largest hotel chains in the world which operates, franchises, and licenses lodging including hotel, residential, and timeshare properties in relation to personal data protection from a Vietnam law and GDPR perspective to enhance the hotel chain’s internal policies in Vietnam, including privacy policies.
