Vietnam’s long-awaited Power Development Plan (PDPVIII) for the period 2021 – 2030, with a vision to 2050, was approved by the Prime Minister of Vietnam on 15 May 2023.
This development officially ushers in a new era of Vietnam’s drive towards energy security and sustainability and unlocks potentially billions of dollars in foreign investment into Vietnam’s electricity sector.
