Frasers Newsletter edition 4, 2011 is now available.
In this edition, we report on developments in the Law on Intellectual Property and especially state controls on inventions that amount to state secrets.
We also follow up on our review of Circular 03 in the previous month’s newsletter, looking at Decree 24 which provides further regulation and guidance on investment in infrastructure projects.
You will also see an article on the regulations governing the establishment and regulation of customs processing agents and government initiatives to promote this sector.
We discuss Circular 02 with regulations on the governance of the tobacco industry and clarification for foreign investors on the forms of investment they may undertake in Vietnam.
Finally, we note that as from 1 May 2011, the general minimum wage is increased to 830,000 Vietnam Dong per month as provided by Decree 22/2011/ND-CP.
