Frasers Newsletter edition 1, 2012 is now available.
In this edition, we report on significant changes to the Civil Proceedings Code which came into force in early 2012.
We also consider Circular 31 which implements Decree 46 on foreign labour in Vietnam. Whilst it provides some relief for employers, it also demonstrates the legislators’ narrow interpretation of the legislation and by no means clarifies all of the outstanding queries.
For those interested in the construction sector, the introduction of model form contracts for construction consultancy work and general construction will be relevant, and we report on the content and application of these contracts.
We also provide an overview of new regulations governing government bonds swaps: terms and conditions applicable to swaps and the procedures.
